Ayaartta Hotel Malioboro

Service was excellent, and breakfast came in generous portions. The room itself was basic but clean. It only had three outlets: one at the desk, one in the bathroom, and one between the beds. The sheets and towels looked dated and a little shabby. Our room was beside a mosque, so we heard loud prayers every couple of hours. Be aware of that when booking.

We came as a couple with our toddler and really enjoyed staying at Ayaartta Hotel. It was cozy and clean, and the room was spacious enough for our small family. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and felt comfortable. Having ample parking was handy since we rented a car for the whole trip. Breakfast was good, though we’d like a little more variety next time. Malioboro Street is walkable, and many attractions around Jogja are easy to reach. No complaints from us, and we’d happily return to Yogyakarta.

I left feeling frustrated rather than relaxed. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, the facilities seemed poorly maintained, and the service didn’t feel friendly or professional. I reported several problems, but none of them were addressed. For what I paid, I expected better comfort, quality, and service. The stay fell well short of expectations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the standards.

A clean, well-located hotel that works well for families. Breakfast was delicious too. I’d recommend staying here.
