Horison Emerald Timoho Yogyakarta

If you're thinking of staying here, check the dates carefully. During school holidays or student farewell trips, I wouldn't recommend it. Schools from other provinces seem to use the hotel for excursions and study tours, and there are plenty of other places with lower prices and better breakfast. I came back to the hotel after exploring Jogjakarta hoping for a quiet night's rest, but large student groups and their teachers were staying on several floors. The students came back from outings, shouting, banging on doors, and making a racket in the corridors until after midnight. I was the only guest on the seventh floor, and they even knocked on my door for some reason. I called reception, but the noise only stopped for a few minutes before starting again, apparently after staff or security returned to the lobby. I'm not against the hotel hosting big groups that take up most of a floor, since that's good for business. But management needs to plan for the effect on other guests. They could have teachers stay on the students' floor, explain the hotel rules to them, and patrol the hallways more often at night, especially after 10 pm. I was very disappointed with the service. I just wanted a peaceful, quiet rest after exploring Jogjakarta. That's all. :(

The hallway had a nice fragrance, and the room was a decent size. There was an Android TV, complimentary tea and coffee, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. I liked the tasty breakfast too, especially the coffee machine with beans.

A warm welcome, quick service, and delicious food. The location was great too. Thanks for the hospitality.

In just two nights I went from the 6th floor to the 2nd and then the 7th, finding baby cockroaches in every room. The hotel has a serious cleanliness problem, with stained sheets and food crumbs across all the carpets. The furniture feels cheaply made, and it was noisy in the mornings and hallways.
