Malioboro Street is very close, which was just what I needed after arriving exhausted from a long trip at 10-11 PM on a weekday. I could get there early the next morning. The two rooms my family and I used were a bit cramped, especially with an extra bed, and some parts looked old, though the rooms were clean overall. I didn't try the TV, so I can't say if it worked. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, the water heater and toilet worked fine, and I think we were given towels and soap. At check-in, they ask you to choose breakfast: sandwich, pancake, or fried rice. For drinks, I think the choices were tea or coffee, but I don't remember exactly. I had pancake and tea, while my roommate had fried rice and coffee. The food was nothing special, but it was alright. Breakfast is on the third floor, where you can enjoy the rooftop view with a hot coffee. Great spot 👏🏼 One thing to check before staying is the car parking, since there's not much space. You can call the number on their Google Maps profile to ask if there's room. I'd stay here again if I visit Malioboro Street another time 👏🏼
