Ndalem Diajeng Homestay

The owner and staff were so welcoming and kind. When I hung my laundry in the room, they even turned on a fan to help it dry faster. I was surprised and really grateful for that thoughtfulness. I’d love to stay here again, and they made the whole trip wonderful. Each morning there was a different Indonesian breakfast, all delicious. Coffee and tea were available for self-service, which was handy. The sheets and bath towels were changed daily, and there was even a power adapter in the room. The place was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were simple, but clean and perfectly fine. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for your kindness and hospitality. 🙇‍♀️😭🫶

The location was spot on, and the shared garden was cute. I had a clean, comfortable four-bed dorm and a great shared bathroom. The staff made us feel very welcome and cooked a great local breakfast. All of that for a great price. I’ll definitely come back.

I wish I’d stayed longer. The price for what you get is hard to beat, and I really liked the location, clean rooms, water dispenser, and laid-back atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was amazing, even for vegetarians. Best place I stayed in Indonesia.

We spent five nights at Ndalem homestay and were really glad we did. It’s very relaxed, the other guests had the same vibe, and Christine is such a lovely, caring lady. The deluxe room is right by the breakfast area, though, so if other guests are up early, you may want earplugs because you can hear the noise. The homestay is in a neighborhood inside walls. That’s handy if you get around by scooter, but walking everywhere can be tricky since you have to find the doors through the wall to get out. I gave four stars because there’s room to improve. The place has lots of potential, and a few small details, like a couple of bedside tables in the deluxe room, would help.
