Nitikan House by FH Stay

Although the unit is small, it was comfortable for our family’s Jogja vacation. Nitikan House unit C is in a residential area, and the distances to places to eat and city attractions are as shown on Google Maps. Parking fits one car per unit, the wifi is fairly fast, and the lighting is good. You get four towels, plus free sugar, coffee, tea, instant noodles, and refilled water. The rooms have cold AC, the living room fan is strong, and the water heater, water pressure, refrigerator, and TV all worked. Cooking and dining utensils are provided, along with an iron and a fan in the living room. A few things could use attention: the toilet freshener had lost its scent, and there was no soap, shampoo, or toothpaste. The bath ladle is too big for the small bucket. Upstairs, one power outlet is crooked, neither room has clothes hangers, some glasses are cracked, and there’s no Qibla direction.

I’m really fed up with this homestay. I paid the full 400 thousand by transfer, but after I cancelled they returned only 100 thousand, even though I never checked in. The lane was so narrow that an Innova couldn’t fit, and I was driving around the alleys without being able to find the place. The homestay couldn’t give me directions and instead told me to wait by the area mosque. That took half an hour, then I gave up and cancelled. I hadn’t checked the reviews beforehand, but people say the road is narrow. It’s not worth it.

The area around the homestay is quiet, which is lovely if you want a peaceful stay, though it’s a bit far from the main road. Thank God, the accommodation was great, with pretty good facilities. It’s the best.
