My daughter loved the pool so much she was reluctant to get out, even when it was time to leave. It’s right in front of the rooms, with a lovely view and easy access, especially from the first floor rooms that open straight onto it. The common room was another highlight, with a good range of board games for relaxing and spending time with other guests. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, served self-service, which made for relaxed, flexible slow mornings. The guest house was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up for comfort and practicality. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality felt warm and welcoming. I had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

The place has such a lovely vibe, all green and peaceful, and the staff were really friendly. My room was clean, and the free breakfast was a nice extra. A great family stay, and I’d love to come back.

The owner is super friendly, and they even let us bring durian and eat it outside the room. We had a spacious room at an affordable price, with free breakfast bread and lots of traditional snacks. There’s a spacious outdoor area on the 3rd flood.

The rooms are clean, and the guest house crew are friendly. Roemah Kenari has a calm setting, with green plants and a swimming pool right in front of the room. Its style is simple but elegant. The calm, enjoyable ambience made our stay at Roemah Kenari pleasant. We could see Mt. Merapi in the morning, and the wifi was fast enough for work. We were four adults, and it’s rare to find rooms that suit all four comfortably, but these rooms and the bathroom worked well for us. We appreciated the service.
