Roemah Noni Macanan

The room is really tiny, with a low ceiling, no sink, and no water heater. Still, it’s very clean and well maintained, and there’s a shared kitchen with all the equipment. The staff and owner were friendly, too. Roemah Noni feels homey, quiet, and beautiful, with a nice atmosphere, and it’s near the center.

There’s a shared kitchen and living space, and the location is in the city center. The road to get there is quite narrow, just wide enough for one car, but it’s one-way, so it wasn’t really a problem. The place is affordable and cozy, with a homey Minimalist Java style. The room interiors are cute, and there’s a compact, convenient room with three beds. One small suggestion: add a shoe rack in front of the rooms so we don’t have to leave shoes outside the building.

We spent two days here with my family during our trip to Yogyakarta, and it was an amazing experience. The rooms are beautiful, with pretty decorations and a cozy atmosphere that has the typical interior of a joglo house. There’s warm water for bathing, too. It’s a good pick if you’re travelling on a low budget. You can use the kitchen to make tea or coffe, and they provide refill water. We’ll definitely come back :)

A beautiful spot and a handy base for getting around. The rooms are a little tight, so you have to make the space work. There’s a large shared fridge, a basic kitchenette, and drinking water.
