Rosalyne Sleepbox Malioboro (Ketandan)

I’ve tried more than six capsule hotels in Surabaya, Bandung, Jogja, and Jakarta, and this one has been the best for the price and facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I’d stay here again. It’s not for someone looking for a spacious room, a big bathtub, lots of TV channels, or restaurant meals. It has the basics I need: a bed to sleep in, a hot shower, a kitchen, a water dispenser, internet, and a reasonable distance from Malioboro. The facilities aren’t perfect, but the value works for me.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bathroom had a hairdryer, soap, and shampoo. My sleepbox was clean and the AC was cold, though dust kept drifting inside the box. Malioboro Street and Beringharjo Market are about a 500-meter walk away, which really isn’t far. I had a great stay and would recommend it to solo travelers.

Clean place, good service, and free tea, coffee, and water. Nice for a short stay, though climbing up and down felt a bit scary. I felt like Tarzan or a monkey!

The capsule bed is spacious, the staff are helpful, and the amenities are convenient. It’s close to Beringharjo Market, Istana Agung, and Fort Vredenburg, near Malioboro. A Rosalyne Sleepbox franchise I’d highly recommend for solo travelers.
