There were five of us coming back from the races, and we were a handful, but we had a lovely time. The landlady was a lovely woman. We’ll definitely be back. Well done, Trish 👏

There’s a place to park, which is why I’m giving it two stars. Breakfast was practically nonexistent, though it’ll do for one night.

It was clean, though very basic. There’s no TV in the room, only in the shared room, and there was no remote. The reception kept cutting out.

The atmosphere was good. I’m looking forward to the lockdown restrictions being lifted so I can visit this pub again.

A great pub for a drink, with a friendly, sociable crowd.
