The vegetarian choices at both meals were delicious, which was a real bonus. We stayed one night at Dromagowlane house while walking the Beara way and were really impressed. The welcome was warm, the food was great, and our room was roomy with comfortable beds. Pretty much everything you could want from a B&B.

The owners told us about the house's long history, which was interesting to hear. We had a great time here. Our room and bathroom were both very spacious, and dinner was excellent, especially the beef stew. Breakfast was generous too, much appreciated by a hungry guy like me. The B&B is beautiful, set at the end of a long, impressive tree-lined drive, and the hosts were very friendly.

After a long hike, Ahrlene brought out the best scones I've had in Ireland, and we enjoyed them outside in the sunshine. She also made us a healthy, tasty three-course dinner in the dining room, with music playing. The large master bedroom is worth asking for: lots of daylight, blackout curtains at night, and the most comfortable bed.

Greg and Ahrlene were really friendly hosts, and the B&B rooms felt plush. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of grounds, though it's very remote. Wild Atlantic Bar is the only pub within walking distance, and the food there was okay. Since we were hiking, we needed to buy lunch from the B&B, but at 10 euro per person the packed lunch was very expensive. Pegs, as you come into Adrigole from the hiking route, sells sandwiches and rolls.

We only stayed one night with Arlene and Greg, but they made us feel very welcome and knew a lot about the area. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was delicious.
