Mossie's B&B

I came away feeling relaxed and settled, as it was such a peaceful hideaway. The hosts are thoughtful, caring, and very friendly. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and I loved their style, colours, and decorations. This is an exceptionally lovely B&B. If you can get a room, take it. The breakfast was the best I've had in Ireland, and this is my third time here.

Vanessa and Matti made our wedding weekend so special when we booked Mossie’s and the self-catering apartment called “Hannos workshop” for three nights. Vanessa put fresh garden flowers in every room, and Matti made sure we had what we needed while still giving us room to ourselves. They served a beautiful breakfast spread every morning and kept relaxing music playing, which added to the atmosphere. The night before the wedding, they put together a grazing table so we could celebrate the start of the weekend. I'd only seen the B&B in Vanessa's Instagram photos since we'd been speaking from last year, but being there was even better. It was absolutely worth it. If you're going to west cork, I highly recommend Mossie’s.

Even in December, the sun breaks through the clouds over the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Mossie’s feels like the perfect place for us to arrive, settle down, and find our balance again. This was our second visit to Vanessa and Matti, and it felt special all over again, with that lovely mix of calm and warmth. Thank you both for creating such a welcoming B&B. We were lucky to be there for a Christmas event this time, which was wonderful. We'd love to return.

Matti was kind and welcoming, and made the whole stay feel easy and relaxing. The grounds are lovely and carefully kept, great for a peaceful walk or simply unwinding. Breakfast was excellent, and the sauna was a real treat. It was the best stay of our trip, and I'd love to come back.
