We’ll always be grateful to Noel and Moira. We ended up staying at their B&B after our tyres had to be ordered and delivered by overnight courier, and they were utterly charming and full of local knowledge the whole time. Noel even suggested two beautiful walks, both of which we did, and Moira had plenty of dinner recommendations within a two-minute walk in the village. We had a great meal at one of the restaurants/bars. It all began when we had a tyre blowout driving through Annascaul at 6:30 in the morning. I saw a gentleman walking his dog and ran over. He was Noel, and he called a local tyre specialist for us. Then he invited us into his lovely B &B so we wouldn’t have to wait in the car. A few minutes later he brought out plates of bacon and eggs and cups of tea, and wouldn’t take any money. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a view over the hills. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with four choices. Annascaul House B&B is a lovely base for the wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The generosity and kindness of these people is remarkable. We can’t wait to return one day.

The host was so friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was awesome, the best tasting one we had. Just when you think you’ve had enough, the host brings you something else. This stay in remote Ireland turned out to be the biggest surprise of our trip. Highly recommended.

We had a nice, clean triple room, and our host was wonderful. You could choose from a variety of breakfast options on the menu and place your order the day before. Down the road, we joined our fellow Paddywagon tour members at the Randy Leprechaun for live music from the Culchie Goes Kool band. Great craic, Irish for a good, fun time!

Breakfast had plenty of options, ordered the night before and ready in the morning, with tea and coffee available too. Noel was a lovely, friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Getting used to travelling with a wheelchair for the first time took some adjusting, and everyone here was absolutely lovely. I was on a tour and had an incredible night and morning. After I got back to Dublin, I realized I’d forgotten something, and they really helped me out. I’m forever happy about my visit.
