It’s a cosy, quiet place in a great location, with helpful staff. The courtyard is only a two minute walk from the castle, which makes it an ideal spot for a peaceful stay. Just be aware it doesn’t have standard hotel amenities like a bar or swimming pool.

We booked The Courtyard for a family get together and weren’t disappointed. The package included accommodation in a beautiful, spacious 'House'. A fantastic choice for a wedding, special occasion, or gathering with family.

The rooms were great, and the atmosphere really does take you back in time. Anthony has done a lovely job bringing the old and new together. Well worth staying if you’re anywhere near Sligo.

Breakfast came with the stay, and it was fresh and really tasty. We were welcomed with so much kindness, more warmly than anywhere else we’ve stayed. The atmosphere felt friendly from the moment we arrived, and the location is perfect for slowing down and getting away.

We travelled around Ireland for 20 days, and this was easily our best hotel. The room, hospitality, and incredible space all stood out. As Canadians, we’re easily won over by stone walls. The owner took time to welcome us, show us around, answer our questions, and be a great host. I’d highly recommend it for a future visit to Sligo.
