Seaview House Hotel

The treatments were the highlight for us, both ladies were excellent, and the young man at leisure was pleasant too. The spa facilities were small and disappointing, though: a tiny sauna and steam room, plus a jacuzzi where you have to stand. We also found the hotel noisy and messy while it was being renovated, with quite dirty flooring and toilets that could have been cleaner. At lunch, the food was good, but the soup came in a coffee cup and our drinks arrived more than 20 minutes after the food. Our waitress wasn’t great and we didn’t enjoy dealing with her. The general staff felt unhelpful, so unfortunately we wouldn’t come back for a spa day or a stay.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, with lovely homemade touches and high-quality local ingredients. We also really enjoyed the massage, and the Serenity Garden was such a peaceful, beautiful place to spend time. The staff were friendly and attentive, and there were lots of thoughtful details throughout. Seaview House Hotel has a classic, traditional feel, but it’s spotless and very well looked after. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend booking time in the garden.

The dog-friendly suites open straight onto the garden, which is ideal when you’re travelling with a pet. I’ve stayed here a few times and would definitely recommend it. It’s a cozy period hotel with lovely food and very friendly staff.

It’s genuinely dog-friendly, which is rare, and that made our relaxing weekend away even better. The food was delicious, the staff were very nice, and the spa and hot tub felt calm and soothing. Suzanne guided us well, and Ronan managed to book us in at very short notice. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend the hotel. Looking forward to coming back!
