The Maritime Hotel Bantry

The staff even offered to post my orthodontic retainer to my London address after I accidentally left it in my room. That kind of kindness is typical of my visits to the Maritime Hotel in Bantry. I've stayed there eight times since my first trip in March 2025, and I'm very happy with the service. My dentist, Dr. Claire O'Connor, is within walking distance. The hotel has the conveniences I need, and both the restaurant and bar have healthy vegan choices. The chef can prepare whatever you like. I highly recommend Maritime.

The bank holiday meant most places were closed, but we had lovely weather and did plenty of exploring. My 11-year-old granddaughter and I spent two nights here, used the pool, and ate in the hotel bar both evenings. Breakfast came with our stay, and the food was good quality and good value. The staff were friendly, and I'd definitely come back.

The rooms were clean and a good size, and breakfast had everything you could want. I was here for four nights as part of a Giles tour, and the food was magnificent every evening. The waiting staff were as good as any I've encountered in a hotel. The manager was a friendly gentleman, and the bar staff were great too. A brilliant hotel, with staff who are a real credit to the place.

Aine made the whole wedding process feel easy and stress-free, and she and the rest of the team were wonderful from our first meeting. Every request was handled with a smile and such care. On the day, everything ran perfectly, with the staff going above and beyond for us and our guests. The Maritime Hotel was a beautiful place for our wedding, especially the function room, and so many guests have told us they loved the food. We can't thank everyone enough for making it so special. If you're considering getting married here, go for it. You won't regret it!
