There was plenty of space and the apartment was clean, though very basic. I took stars off because the listing said there'd be Wi-Fi, but there wasn't. You had to pay through 3pay if you wanted access, which hadn't been mentioned in the advert or by the housekeeper. If I'd known, I wouldn't have minded. There were only three TV channels, which wasn't great with children along.

For £370 for two nights, plus a €200 holding deposit, I'd expect a lot more. I know you get what you pay for, but this apartment was horrible. I wouldn't return or recommend it to anyone, not even an enemy. The place was dirty and mouldy in every room, with black mould in the corners. The beds had damp sheets and were so uncomfortable the floor might have been better. The skirting boards looked at least 20 years old. Three doors didn't even have handles to close them. The living room chairs were unacceptable, and the table was dangerous, with two broken legs. Touch it and it nearly collapsed. The shower hose wouldn't stay in its clip, so I had to hold it to rinse off, and the bedroom radiator was hanging off the wall.

Really nice place, close to the beach and amusements. Parking is free, though it can be a little tricky. It may not work well for someone with a disability because some apartments are upstairs, but there are ground-floor ones too. Otherwise, all was fine.

We ended up sleeping in our car even though we'd paid €400 for both nights. We'd told them we'd be arriving late, and they asked us to call five minutes before we got there so they could give us the key. The owner wasn't there when we arrived, and she never picked up despite our repeated calls. They still kept all the money. They might sound nice on the phone, but it felt like they only cared about getting paid and not about customers. Please don't book number 44. I don't want anyone else to be cheated. I'm very disappointed.
