As a solo American traveler, I often cover a lot of ground when I'm somewhere new, so I need a place to recharge now and then. Buunratty Meadows was easily my favourite stay in all of Ireland. The host was unbelievably kind, the village nearby was just as charming, and I loved the views, comfortable room and bed, and fantastic shower.

A great base for seeing the Wild Atlantic Way and the surrounding area. Bunratty, Shannon Airport, and Limerick are all conveniently close, and the location and views are wonderful. Highly recommend.

The owners made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was a great Irish one. The bed and breakfast is close enough to drive to the castle and restaurants, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful stay.

We spent our last night in Ireland at Bunratty Meadows, and it was a delightful end to a wonderful trip. The setting is peaceful, looking over the meadow and river. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with very comfortable bedding and linens. It was handy for going to dinner at Bunratty Castle, and breakfast before we left was made to order and delicious.

Lovely hosts, a beautiful spotlessly clean room, and a great breakfast. Tea and coffee are available in the guest dining room and lounge. I would have preferred a kettle in our room, but that was only because I needed to prepare baby bottles. We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
