A car is definitely needed. We had a lovely welcome, enjoyed the peace and quiet, and found it clean, comfy and homely. Breakfast was good, and the owner catered beautifully for a vegan. We loved staying here with our dog. One of the best places we stayed in Ireland.

The rooms were spacious and generous, with soft towels and very comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and well kept, and the hosts were friendly. Since we were hiking without a car, a place for guests to keep and prepare food, like a fridge and microwave, would have helped. The local hotel is a walk along a main road, which is manageable in good weather or summer daylight, but unpleasant in torrential rain and unsafe in the dark.

A cosy, beautiful house with a kind owner and a fantastic, tasty breakfast included in the price. We stayed with our dogs while visiting Cahir, and it was €10 per dog. The place is a 10-minute drive from the centre.

The hosts were very nice, and the room was spacious. It’s peaceful around here, with a lovely countryside walk nearby. Breakfast was really good too. Definitely worth a stay.

I usually avoid B&Bs after a bad experience in the past, but staying here changed how I feel about them. The rooms were lovely and well maintained, the food was great, and the staff were warm and friendly. It gave an already welcoming country a family feel. Can’t recommend it enough!
