Pauline at reception is a breath of fresh air, easygoing while still professional. Breakfast was freshly cooked and great, and there was a lovely drop of guinness at the bar too. We highly recommend the ivy tower. I think the hotel is hard done by with its 2 stars, and deserves a strong 3. I've stayed in many 4 star hotels that weren't as good.

On 22/5/26, we had dinner and drinks before heading out in Castlebar. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. We'll definitely be back. Thanks, Brian.

It's central, so the shops and other amenities are an easy walk away. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. I was delighted to meet the resident dogs. We didn't eat there, but the dining room looked very spacious.

The music was really entertaining, and the atmosphere was superb. We found the staff and venue very welcoming, and I want to thank the staff and management for their customer service. I'll be bringing my family there more often.

There's lots of beautiful scenery, history, and plenty of walks nearby. This characterful hotel was comfortable, charming, and clean. It was very busy the weekend we visited, but we still got attention and service. A real find, with food and hospitality second to none.
