The view from Sharamore House is unreal, and Clifden is only a five-minute drive away. Sue was a fantastic host, and it was fun chatting about the half marathon she’d run herself, which we were in town for. The house is beautiful and cozy, with spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was fantastic on both mornings. I’m still thinking about the smoked salmon, honestly. Staying here was one of the highlights of our Ireland trip, and we hope to come back.

Breakfast was superb, and we enjoyed the lovely view while we ate. My wife and I had a great stay and would return without hesitation. We highly recommend this place, and I’d give the staff six stars if I could.

The staff were friendly and always happy to give helpful advice. We had a spacious, well-kept room in welcoming accommodation with a homely feel. Breakfast was excellent, generous, and offered lots of variety.

Every room has its own bathroom, which is a big plus, and everything was VERY clean. Sue is a phenomenal host with lots of suggestions for the area. Breakfasts were better than some restaurant meals I’ve had, and the pancakes were my favorite.
