The vegan breakfast was miserable: two tasteless sausages, a hash brown, uncooked tomato halves, some mushrooms, and a spoonful of beans. We weren't offered a choice of toast and were given white bread. The waitress brought Flora butter with a 2023 use-by date, two years old, and what looked like paint or lipstick all over the lid. We didn't use it. There are plenty of vegan options now, and Clonakilty itself makes excellent vegan sausages and puddings. We wouldn't recommend this place for vegans. The host was lovely, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean. We also lost sleep because people in the next room were snoring, then stumbled in loudly and rudely after 1:30 am. I suppose that's a standard B&B issue, but it has put us off completely.

The room felt comfortable and homely, and the breakfast was delicious with a great selection. I stayed for two nights, and Noel and the others were all polite and helpful. A wonderful place to stay.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and they had a double room available at very short notice. Breakfast was very good, including a good vegetarian version. A lovely stop on our Ireland road trip.

Our room was clean and comfortable, but the breakfast arrangements felt confusing. We were told breakfast was at 9:30 because some guests were arriving early. When we went down then, the dining room was full, the tables were very close together, and there was no ventilation. We came back later when it was less crowded and opened the hall doors for some air. A sign said guests had to be in the dining room at 9:30 due to Covid. Surely the times could be 8-10 to allow people to eat at staggered times because of Covid.

A good base for exploring West Cork, with lovely staff and good value for money. The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was a full Irish, with plenty of options, including veggie and vegan choices.
