We had a fantastic lunch here yesterday for my mother's 70th birthday. We’d arranged a family get-together on the way to a rugby match in Cork, and the food was great. The staff were outstanding, so welcoming, friendly, and great craic. Thanks so much, everyone. We’ll be back.

We should’ve booked another night. Muskerry Arms Bar and B&B Blarney was such a gem, and we wanted more time to enjoy both Blarney and the bar. We checked in at the bar, then had dinner out on the back patio in the fresh air. The pub was lively inside, but it was too nice a night to stay in. The chicken Pub Curry was fantastic, my favourite of all the pub curries I tried in Ireland. It’s a perfect base for Blarney Castle. In the morning we had a light breakfast and coffee, and the staff kindly held our bags while we visited the castle. We came back afterward for a much-needed warm lunch, spent some time with the late afternoon crowd, then caught the bus back to Cork.

I’ve been here twice for dinner, but haven’t stayed overnight. The location is convenient, the dining room is nice, and the beer is exceptional. The food’s just okay. The first time, my fish and chips had very bland batter, which surprised me since it was beer batter. I gave it another go, and on my second visit the service was excellent. I tried that night’s roast pork special, which was okay but a little dry. The stuffing, gravy, and mashed potatoes were pretty good. My partner ordered a burger both times and liked it. I’d go for the beer, and if you want food, skip the specials and get the burger.

Sandra gave me a warm, welcoming check-in, and she really is an outstanding member of staff. Dinner was another great part of the stay. The portions were generous, the service stayed quick and efficient even on a busy Friday night, and the food was fantastic. Just be warned that the starter portion of chicken wings is quite large. Breakfast was five-star as well, and the waitress was friendly and engaging. I hope you got your tyre fixed! Free parking is right outside. My room was cosy, warm, and had everything I needed. The bed was perfect, and I slept easily despite the live music downstairs, which wasn’t too loud. I did have trouble studying for my exam the next morning because the lights flickered and the room felt dim, though. Apart from that, it was a wonderful B&B and restaurant experience. I’ll be back and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks, team!

I didn’t stay overnight this time, but I definitely will on my next visit to Blarney. The Muskerry Arms Bar has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were lovely, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and served piping hot. It’s a great spot for a meal or a night’s stay, and I’d highly recommend it.
