11 Portobello Harbour

I’m from Colombia, though it wasn’t an option to select. I enjoyed my stay, and the hotel was easy to reach, with bus stops nearby. The room didn’t get much natural light, and there wasn’t a comfortable desk for working. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices including bread, fruit, vegetables, eggs, and coffee. I also had a fantastic hamburger for lunch, with good quality for the price. The kitchen closes early at night.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel was so quiet that the rooms seem to be soundproofed. I’d happily stay again, and will probably make it my usual hotel in Dublin. The windows were my one real issue: they don’t open, and even a small opening for fresh air would help. The air conditioning was okay, though slow to start, which makes me wonder how it’ll feel in summer. The location is great.

Breakfast had lots to choose from and was delicious each morning, and the hotel is in a safe-feeling, walkable part of Dublin that made exploring easy. My room was spotless and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept well every night. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout, and I loved the shower too. I had a great stay at NYX Hotel Dublin Portobello and would definitely return.

Even on a Friday night, everything was clean, orderly, and running smoothly. Adam, the Deputy GM, was kind and welcoming, and gave me good suggestions for places to see around the city. The hotel’s decor and whole feel are stylish, thoughtful, and inviting. Anderson made an immaculate spicy margarita, beautifully presented and tasting like nectar of the gods. It was balanced just right, with a good kick. That drink has spoiled other spicy margaritas for me. Can’t wait to come back.
