Acara House

After several uncomfortable days of traveling, arriving at Acara was the best part of my trip. Liz was so kind, helpful, and accommodating, and the house was clean, quaint, and lovely. I had a wonderful room, and the price felt very reasonable. You can reach the city centre in 10-15 mins by bus. I enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

Frank the cat wanders around the house, and we became friends with him! We also found the neighborhood quiet and got a good night's rest. The host was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and our room was cleaned and tidied every day. The bus connections to the city centre were great. The bathroom felt a bit cramped for brushing your teeth or using it comfortably. We knew in advance that breakfast wasn't provided, though it was still a pity. Even so, I’d definitely recommend this cosy place for a few days in Dublin. 🥰

Getting around was easy with a train station nearby. Liz, the owner, was really sweet and gave us all the information we needed as newcomers to Dublin. Our room was comfortable and clean. Amazing BnB.

Liz was kind and helpful, and she replied quickly when we booked directly. The cosy, modest room was good value for Dublin, with a comfortable bed where we slept well. Acara House is a welcoming guesthouse/BnB between the airport and city center, just a short, easy walk from a main bus route. We slept late because of jet lag, so we didn’t try breakfast, but the dining room looked spotless and cheerful. It’s a homey option for travellers on a budget, and I highly recommend it.
