The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the complimentary drink at the hotel bar. It’s a nice bar with live music and a good atmosphere. The room was a little dated, but we’re rarely in it on a city break, so it didn’t bother us. We also didn’t find the noise as bad as some reviews suggested for the Temple Bar area. The price was really good for such a central hotel, and the location suited our plans perfectly. I’d definitely stay again if I visit Dublin.

You’re right in Temple Bar, with a decent pub attached, and I thought the soundproofing was fair for the area. The rooms are fairly spacious too. But the beds were uncomfortable, the bathrooms and hallways smelled oddly of old cleaning supplies and sewage, and the Wi-Fi was really poor in a lot of spots. For the price, I’d choose somewhere else.

It was horribly loud, the customer service was very poor, and it didn’t feel worth the price. If you just need a last-minute place to crash after a drunken night out and have the cash, it might work. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to rest after exploring Dublin and get up at a reasonable time. There are plenty of better hotels in the city for a good night’s sleep.

Great location, but the rooms were very basic, which wasn’t an issue for me. The lifts smelled bad, and at one point there was a strong petrol smell on our floor. The bar was closed. I expected noise in Temple Bar, but room 424 faced a side street and it went on nonstop through the night and early morning. The window was single glazed and the room was cold. I didn’t sleep at all. Glad to be heading home.

The room, service and location were all great, and the price was really good for Dublin. The only bad part was the road work right outside my window. Jackhammers went on all morning, shaking the room and making it impossible to sleep in or take the work calls I needed to. It was awful, though I was assured this wasn't a regular thing and it wasn't the hotel's fault. The desk clerk was so apologetic. I'd definitely stay again, but I'd check whether road works were planned first so I could enjoy the visit properly.
