Butlers Townhouse

I spent 6 days here and honestly loved it. Getting around Dublin was so easy and stress free because the location is really convenient🚶‍♀️✨ Luke and Claudia were amazing throughout, doing everything they could to support me. Their kindness made a real difference, especially Luke, who always checked that everything was good for me 🙌 On sunny days, the natural light in the room made it feel warm, peaceful and comfortable☀️ I'm grateful for the stay and will definitely come back when I'm in Dublin again 🇮🇪

The hotel was cosy and good value for money, especially if you're staying in the Landsdowne area. It's a 3 minutes walk from the DART. The unmanned access suited my trip, though I can see how it might be a problem if something went wrong. I didn't have any issues and would definitely use it again.

The loudest part of the stay was hearing toilets flush from the rooms upstairs, especially in room 6. Apart from that, I had a great night here while competing in Dublin Hyrox. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and warm, and the bathrooms were spacious, spotless, and recently updated. A few small issues were down to me.

We’re six Canadian travellers with three rooms booked for June 2026, but after planning our UK trip we realized we couldn’t fit in the Ireland portion. We contacted the hotel in December 2025, about six months ahead, hoping to cancel and get a refund so the rooms could be rebooked. After several messages, the owners wouldn’t refund or cancel, and wouldn’t let us transfer the bookings to someone else. They did offer a one-time rebooking, but coming from Canada’s west coast, we don’t know if or when we’ll return. I’ve never posted a one-star review before, but after trying several times to sort this out, I’m very disappointed with the customer service.
