Destiny Student - Mayor Square

As a student, I found this a comfortable and practical place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, which made settling in easier. Shops, public transport, and everyday necessities are nearby, so getting around Dublin is convenient. The rooms are tidy and well maintained. They’re not large, but suited me perfectly well as one person, especially by Dublin standards. There’s gym access too, a nice extra, though it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot or a short five-minute ride.

The rooms and beds are very small for a price that’s above average, supposedly because of the location. I didn’t find the location especially good, since lots of other accommodation is along the Luas line. There’s no gym or library, and not even a TV in the living room.

The location really isn’t good, despite the higher-than-average price being justified on that basis. The rooms are ridiculously small, and so are the beds. There are no amenities either, no gym, library, study space, or even a TV in the shared living room. For what you pay, it’s horrible and not worth the money. Do not live here!

Service was excellent and the location was good. The rooms were okay. We used the washing machine in the kitchen, and reception provided the detergent.
