Drury Court Hotel

We came back for a second stay, and it felt like returning to people who really care, not just checking into a hotel. The front desk team are thoughtful and welcoming. Even little things, like checking that we had water when we arrived and after a day out, made a difference. They share good restaurant and activity recommendations, and you never feel like just another guest. The hotel was also spotlessly clean. Our adult daughter called it “our home away from home” when we first entered the room. That kind of warmth is hard to find in a bigger hotel. The location is just as good, close to almost everything we wanted to do in Dublin. Pearse station is about a 15-minute walk, and many main sights, including Grafton Street, are within walking distance. We can’t picture staying anywhere else on our next visit. It’s a real gem, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make our stay so lovely.

I felt safe walking back at night from the Temple Bar area, about 10 minutes away, and found this a lovely base for exploring Dublin. I spent three nights here in December on my own and it worked out really well. The room was spacious and very clean, and breakfast downstairs in the pub was a bonus, with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The location is excellent, with the high street just a stone’s throw away, pubs and restaurants nearby, and convenient bus stops. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and made me feel very welcome. I’d recommend Drury Court hotel whether you’re travelling alone or with someone.

We had a great three-night stay and would happily return. We asked for a quiet room and the accommodating staff put us on the top floor. The location is great, and the desk staff gave us water and city maps that came in handy. The lift was out of order for a few days, but they reduced the fee and offered us breakfast for free.

I was really impressed with my stay over the busy Christmas period. The rooms were very clean, and the bar and restaurant were lovely with great food. For the location and time of year, it was good value. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to retrieve something I’d left behind, then post it back to me at no charge. That was typical of the good service and kindness I experienced throughout my stay.
