I didn't feel safe there, especially traveling alone, so I left and booked a separate Airbnb because I wanted somewhere clean and safe. I won't stay there again, and would advise people to think about what conditions they're willing to accept. The hostel was in a rough part of town, which I could live with, but I got an uneasy feeling as soon as I went inside. I had arrived before my scheduled stay and was told I could leave my things in the check-in office, out in the room rather than behind the desk. The common areas were visibly dirty and poorly maintained: the surfaces, walls, floors, furniture, and ceilings all looked dirty. There were water stains on the ceilings and an odd smell. I suspect there may have been mold because of the smell, and my skin started itching while I was there.

Even though it was full, the place didn't feel crowded. The staff were really helpful and nice, and there was plenty to use: a rooftop common area with big windows and a terrace, a clean, spacious kitchen, plus a TV room and computers. There's a fabulous Korean restaurant around the corner, and downtown is an easy walk. One of the best backpacker places I've stayed in for a long time. 10/10.

I found it relaxing and the staff were nice, so I've already booked another stay. Some people mentioned the mechanical parking door makes noise. It does, but it didn't bother me or take away from the place.

The beds have curtains for extra privacy, and I found the place comfortable. Parking for my Sprinter van was easy, right in front of the building in a metered spot. For the price and location, it's really great: lots of bars and coffee shops are within walking distance, and the more touristy sights are a quick 18-20 minute walk away. The staff were extremely helpful.

The beds are so comfortable that it was easy to get a good night's sleep, and everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of options. The hostel is in a fantastic spot, close to everything you need and handy for exploring the area. Highly recommended!
