Harveys Guesthouse was a peaceful base for exploring Dublin's restaurants, bars, and historic sights. The busy city centre was only a ten-minute walk away. Our room and the house had loads of character, with lovely period touches. The owner hosted us himself and was friendly and genial. We spent a few days there and it suited us perfectly.

Nicholas, the hotel's proprietor, was a fantastic host, easy to reach with questions before we arrived and throughout our stay. When I left my phone in a cab on the way to the airport, he contacted the driver, got it back, and shipped it to me in the US with expedited service. My family and I had a wonderful stay, with clean, comfortable rooms in a fantastic location and very kind, professional staff.

We came as a family and booked a single, double, and triple room. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and cozy, with lovely decor and large windows that brought in lots of natural light. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. It was surprisingly quiet at night for a big converted house in the city. After days out seeing Dublin, we liked having the library and sitting room to relax and catch up. O'Connell Street was so close we were there before we knew it, and the sights were an easy walk or tram ride away. The green line was a few blocks off, with buses nearby too. The family who run the guest house were warm and clearly took pride in the place. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pound cake, and the owners' daughter picked flowers for the tables. We enjoyed the decor, friendly chats, and stories. Nicholas spoke with me a few times before we arrived to make sure everything was sorted, and Oscar welcomed us and got us settled in. They were helpful the whole stay and gave us good ideas for things to do and places to eat. We'd come back next time we're in Dublin and recommend them to anyone visiting.

Nicholas and his team treated us like family, and we were extremely pleased with our stay. He had great suggestions for spending our time and helped us find our way around Dublin. The room was great, the beds were really comfortable, and there was plenty of tea. Breakfast was tasty every day.

We spent five days here with our family in a four-person room and felt very comfortable throughout. The room was in very good shape, the location was great, and the service was excellent. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
