We were going to a concert, and at 59 euro for two people for one night, the location made this a bargain. For student accommodation, it was pretty much what I expected. The staff seemed lovely, and the price is hard to beat. I'd stay again, even though the room was hot. If all you need is a place to sleep, it does the job, especially compared with paying 150 or more for a hotel. The room felt stuffy, and the window couldn't open all the way because of a restrictor. I understand that may be for safety because the room was high up, but the whole building was roasting, and it sometimes made sleeping difficult. I was confused by being asked for my card details three times, when booking, on arrival, and again at checkout. Each time staff said it was for insurance, though the room only had cupboards. There were also stacks of dirty sheets on several floors, which didn't look good on the way to our room.

Getting around is easy from here: there's a direct airport bus on line 747, and the red tram goes to the city centre. Restaurants, a supermarket, and a cozy coffee shop are all within walking distance. I also liked having a shared kitchen with appliances, cutlery, plates, cups, and an iron. The room was quite basic, more so than the online photos suggested. A few small additions could make it more comfortable, like another small towel and a bin in the bathroom, hangers in the wardrobe, and perhaps a little decor. It and the hallways were very warm even though it was under 20C outside. There's no air conditioning, and the window only opens a little.

The gym was nice and the staff were friendly, but we barely slept well for three nights straight. The bed was only a little wider than a single, so it wasn't suitable for two. The room got too hot, and being close to the main road and port meant we heard traffic and weekday construction noise.

My stay was fairly nice, and reception staff were friendly, though sometimes absent-minded. The room I booked for one was cozy and clean, if a bit stuffy. The accommodation is new, with signs of recent construction still visible. The location may seem a little remote, but the city's best spots are within a pleasant walk. The common area is functional, though crowded with sofas and a bit stuffy. After I mentioned the air conditioning to staff, that issue was more or less fixed. You can use your key to get to the rooftop during the day. The lock can be tricky at first. When leaving, you have to tap your key to lock the door, so pay attention. The check-in and checkout process really needs work. I paid for my stay through booking on the morning I arrived, using my bank card. At check-in, they asked for full details of another bank card in case I broke something. Then at checkout, I had to give them my full card details again to prove I was really checking out.

Having a gym available 24/7 was a great perk, and the location made getting into the city centre easy. The room wasn't serviced once during my week, which felt like a missing feature at £404. Still, I'd happily pay to stay again, and I'm booked to return in October. It's a shame this is a pop-up and will be closed then. The location was superb; I just wish the room had been serviced during the week.
