Even with the no cleaning sign up, extra towels and tissue were left at my door, which I appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean, and the outdoor seating area was lovely, with lights and heaters so you can have a drink from the bar outside. I had a short stay and everything went well. The location was ideal for walking to several popular sights, and I'd happily stay again and recommend it to friends.

Even the street-facing rooms were quiet, despite the busy part of town, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and well appointed, with decent wardrobes that have sensor lights inside and a full ironing board and iron. The staff were a cut above, welcoming, genuinely helpful and friendly across the board. At just over €150 a night for a twin room, it was good value for Dublin. I'd definitely return.

The room was on the small side, but modern, clean and had everything needed. The hotel is in a very quiet area, near a bus stop, and you can walk to the city center in about 15 minutes. Staff were professional. This is a great place to stay, and even though this review is late, I highly recommend it.

Most of the staff were polite, welcoming and nice, and the rooms were immaculately clean. Still, my stay was very disappointing. The AC stopped working on the first night. The next day I was offered a room on the first floor, which I declined. Instead of finding another suitable room then, they left me in the room without AC for another night and told me to be ready to move by noon the following day. In the morning I took my luggage to reception and told the receptionist I was ready. She said the new room would be ready soon and offered to send my bags up later, so I went out to explore the city. When I returned that evening and picked up the new key, I found I'd been moved to a smaller 'cozy room' instead of the 'Standard King Room' I'd booked and paid for. I was exhausted and didn't raise it then. At checkout the next morning, I deliberately waited to see if she would mention the downgrade or address it herself. She ignored it and offered neither an apology nor a refund. I also asked her to call a taxi, but she said the hotel phone system was down. That was a terrible excuse. People have mobiles or apps like Uber or Free Now, and in many countries I've visited, receptionists have gone out of their way to help, even hailing a cab on the street. This receptionist showed no willingness to help. I chose not to argue and was just relieved to leave. I definitely won't return.
