The only real drawback for me was how small the rooms were. Apart from that, I had a very good stay, with the facilities making this B&B feel like home. There’s free coffee, tea, and water, plus a shared fridge and microwave. The common dining area is handy for eating, studying, or reading, and the bathrooms, while not attached to the rooms, were well maintained. The lady who helps with room service is lovely, and the manager is a nice man. I first moved to Dublin in January 2022 and booked a week here. Finding permanent accommodation was nearly impossible then, so I extended and ended up staying for two weeks. It really did feel like home during that time.

The shared bathrooms were often busy, and the water pressure was low, though I gather that’s common in B&Bs here. For a family, the four-bed room is a good option. The place had a pleasant atmosphere and a bit of an Irish feel. It’s outside the centre, but buses make it easy to reach downtown. Breakfast was quite decent, served in a large, cosy living room.

The small room worked for us, though I’d only suggest it for up to two people. It was clean and made up daily by the housekeepers. We’d booked without a bathroom, and the shared one was fine, spacious, and just a short walk upstairs. The common kitchen had water, instant coffee, and tea all day, as well as Nespresso, muffins, and fruit from 8:00am to 10:00am. Guests can also use the shared fridge and dining area. My one suggestion would be to update the floors throughout. The staff were really helpful, from the gentleman who checked us in to the two women doing housekeeping. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, about a 5-8 minute walk from shops, restaurants, and local buses.

For the price, it was decent enough, and I wouldn’t mind coming back. The airport is conveniently close. My room was a reasonable size, and the bathroom, though small, was clean. The building is old and could use an upgrade. It was a little unusual that reception was set up in the breakfast room, but the receptionist seemed friendly. Breakfast had very limited choice.
