Roxford Lodge Hotel

The hotel is in a quieter neighbourhood than the busy centre, which made it a nice place to return to after sightseeing. The airport was about a 20 minute drive away, also convenient. Our triple room was large by European standards, though not especially spacious. There was enough room to relax in the evening, but moving around our three large suitcases took some maneuvering. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The staff were professional, kind and cheerful. The women at check-in helped us find the parking lot behind the hotel, carried our luggage and got us checked in. We’d definitely stay again in Dublin.

The hotel was nearly the cheapest of the options I saw on booking.com, but our stay went well beyond what my partner and I expected. We had a free upgrade from reception, and the room had plenty of space for us. It felt set up for whatever you want from a hotel, from a good night’s sleep on a very comfortable mattress with silky soft sheets to relaxing with a movie on the TV or taking a bath. I hadn’t expected a sauna, but in the cold weather it was perfect. Electric car charging was ready to use in the car park too. The hotel really delivers for its price range and location. We had such a good stay and will definitely come back.

The tiny, maze-like hallways to the rooms were super cute, like something from the Winchester mystery mansion. This is a classy joint in Dublin’s diplomatic district, a few blocks past Merrion Square. The staff were friendly, the sitting lounge was nice and everything was spic and span. We had a fine room with a great bed and shower.

We had a fantastic stay at roxford Lodge. The room was lovely, and we had a nice outside area where we could sit with a cuppa. A very pleasant staff member helped us get settled quickly when we arrived. Thank you 😊 The coffee wasn’t great, and the staff member in the morning was very snappy when we asked for advice.
