The bedroom was much too cramped for two people, and sharing one worn toilet and bathroom among four bedrooms was a problem at times. We stayed three nights and eventually bought our own toilet paper because the supply kept running out, there was no backup, and reception didn’t always answer when we rang for more. I can’t recommend this place.

We paid nearly 900 Euros for five nights, but the place was extremely dirty. The bathroom was filthy, the bed linen hadn’t been changed before we arrived, and cleaning seemed not to happen at all. On two occasions there was no toilet paper, and staff were smoking inside the house. Nothing was said about breakfast. Silver Eagle needs to take better care of its customers instead of focusing only on profit. The carpet looks rotten and should be removed. I’d only come back if cleaning standards improve.

At 100 € a night, I felt I got almost nothing. Breakfast wasn’t provided, even though quite a while has passed since Covid. The shared bathroom wasn’t cleaned regularly, and once there was no toilet paper. Worst of all, the sheets looked used, with stains and creases. After I complained, I was given a 15 € discount, but still paid 391 € for what felt like a rat hole. Never again.

The room floor was filthy, and the mattress was so bad I woke up with backache every day. The walls were thin, so the noise was awful. The bathroom was fairly clean, but badly in need of repairs, and the toilet only worked sometimes. They wanted cash when we arrived; that didn’t work for me, and somehow the card machine only worked on the last day. There were no blackout shades, a problem in June when the sun stays up late. It cost over 200.00 per night.
