The rooms were fantastic, spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety, and the hotel is in a perfect location. This is my favorite hotel in the group, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Please keep up the same level of service! I've stayed with this hotel group many times and the staff are always friendly, but The Alex went beyond what I expected this time. Thank you for the room upgrade, free breakfast, early check-in and box of chocolates at checkout. Even without those extras, Simon and Sofia are the best receptionists we've ever met. We've travelled a lot over the years, and their friendliness and kindness made this one of our best experiences. Kindness doesn't cost much, but they made a real difference. Thanks so much, you made our stay 100 out of 10.

The suite made our stay especially relaxing, with its large bathroom and extra living room area. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the place has boutique hotel character with the comfort and amenities of a much larger property. The staff were amazing. We loved the breakfast selection, and everything was savory and satisfying. The morning team were incredibly kind and attentive, and the girls working then were especially sweet. The lattes were extra rich and delicious. I forgot the server's name, but she's from Spain with a Colombian background, and it was so nice to speak Spanish with her. She was warm and welcoming and made our mornings even more enjoyable. The location is great, with everything within walking distance. You're near the main Temple Bar area but away from the huge crowds, so it feels peaceful and quiet. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay!

What really made this stay memorable was the service, especially from Simon at the front desk. After a day out, we came back to chocolate-covered strawberries waiting in the room. When we returned from spending one night away, Simon upgraded us to a room with a view, arranged executive lounge access, and had more strawberries waiting. It was a thoughtful touch and showed how attentive the team was. My partner and I came to Dublin this spring and wanted to be near the city center but a little away from its noise and bustle. The Alex Hotel was an ideal base, within walking distance of parks, restaurants, shopping and the lovely grounds of Trinity College. The room was excellent. We stayed twice because we had to leave the city for one night, and both visits were consistently good. It had a spacious, modern bathroom with a great shower, a dark, moody style, a comfortable armchair, a small sitting area and an extremely comfortable bed. At first I was concerned that the view looked onto a construction site and might be noisy. The front desk reassured me it hadn't been a problem and kindly offered to move us in the morning if needed. They were right, there was no noise, so we stayed in the room. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the staff are exceptional, and the location feels perfect to me. I'd absolutely stay here again if I return to Dublin. The level of service sets the hotel apart and creates the kind of experience that makes you want to come back.

We spent 10 days at The Alex Hotel Dublin in March 2026, and it was a fantastic trip for our whole family. The hotel is beautiful, modern, comfortable and very well maintained, with excellent food, consistently top-tier service and an atmosphere that felt like home. The food and beverage team deserve a special mention. My wife and family have several food allergies, which can make travel stressful, but the team took them seriously and handled everything with care and professionalism. They worked hard to make sure we could eat safely, and offered variety and flexibility throughout all 10 days. That kind of consistent attention meant a lot to us. Jamie, the Group Manager, went above and beyond to keep things running smoothly. Sandra and the entire food and beverage team were outstanding, and housekeeping kept everything spotless and comfortable. The front desk team was always warm, helpful and accommodating as we came and went each day. The hotel coffee bar was a great daily highlight. We're grateful to the entire team, would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.
