The Morrison Dublin, Curio Collection by Hilton

Breakfast was high quality, though the buffet selection and the à la carte portions and options could be better in both quantity and variety. Elias, our server from Goa, was very friendly and efficient. The room we ended up in was very good, and housekeeping did a great job during our two nights at The Morrison. When we first arrived, though, we were given a cramped room at the end of the corridor with virtually no view and windows that couldn’t even be opened for fresh air. Maria from Sardinia at the Front Office dealt with the room change quickly and professionally, moving us to a much brighter room in the same category. They clearly know how to handle this, and I’m quite sure other guests have raised the original room issue too. Thanks as well for the extra perks. As a hotelier, I really dislike the growing trend in Europe of removing guest amenities in the name of being “environmentally friendly.” Having to ask for something as basic as a dental kit doesn’t feel luxurious. The location is excellent. We had a very good stay, and thanks to the excellent recovery and outstanding staff I’m giving 5 stars. Without the room change, I probably wouldn’t have rated it above 2.

Breakfast was delicious, with a clean buffet and lots of great options. The room was wonderful, very clean, and clearly well kept. We arrived hours before check-in because of our flight, and the front desk staff kindly held our bags while we explored. They said they’d try to get a room ready early, and they did. That was an unexpected, very welcome surprise after a long travel day. Everyone we met was kind, friendly, and helpful. The front desk gave us a great dinner recommendation, and people we passed in the halls said hello. We had an amazing time here, and the staff deserve a huge shout-out. Highly recommend if you’re in Dublin.

I’ll be back, thank you! The lobby paintings were really interesting and creative. My favorite restaurant dish was the Morrison Salad with grilled chicken, healthy and delicious. The food in general was healthy and tasty, and all the staff were helpful. Kevin especially came through when I was rushing to the airport. He showed me the way to the fitness centre, helped me there, and then helped me weigh my bag. He was brilliant.

The room felt very warm to me, which was the only drawback. Otherwise the location was great, the bar was nice, and the staff were excellent. They were so accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. I’d recommend this hotel.
