The rooms felt a bit tight, and getting into Dublin city centre takes some time, but Brookville Guest House made us feel looked after in a way a standard 5-star hotel might not. Liam and Dee often made fresh orange juice, and when I called down at dinner to order from a nearby pub or restaurant, they arranged delivery, unpacked the food, and brought it to my room. On my first day, Liam even gave me a LEAP card to get around Dublin. The personal service and cozy, home-like feel were fantastic.

I only ended up at Brookville Guest House because I lost my house keys, which was my own fault. It turned out to be one of the cleanest, friendliest places I've stayed, and I travel a lot. The staff were lively, helpful, and kind. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The facilities were great too, and the sauna looked lovely, though I couldn't use it with only the clothes I was wearing. I'd happily recommend the place, and if I lose my keys again, I know where to go.

The jacuzzi was a highlight of our mini-moon. Chris and I booked an hour of private use, and Dei had put rose petals around the room, with a handwritten note and strawberries to go with our Presseco. There was also a shower, toilet, sauna, a fridge stocked with bottled water, and plenty of clean towels and robes. Brookville House was a lovely choice for our stay last weekend. Liam and Dei welcomed us warmly, and our room had bubbles, a huge box of chocolates, rose petals, and a thoughtful card congratulating us on our wedding. It was spacious and comfortable, with a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and a bright, roomy bathroom with a wonderful power shower. They made everything easy, from calling to book restaurant meals to suggesting nearby places to see, and they cooked hearty breakfasts. The Grange Pub is worth a visit for its lively atmosphere, bands, tribute acts, and friendly crowd. The house is also well placed for local beauty spots about a 20-30 minute drive away, including Powerscourt House and gardens and Ireland's highest waterfall. Enniskerry is a beautiful village for a stroll, with pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, and lovely photo spots. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bed linen, towels, and robes can be changed daily, and tea, coffee, and bottled water are replenished as often as you need. Liam is quite a character, full of funny stories, and we felt we'd known him for years almost immediately. Dei is so caring, a true lady. They're a unique, wonderful couple, and we'll certainly be back. Chris and Lisa Higgins.

I've not found a better B&B in Dublin. The room was cozy, comfortable, and very clean, with lots of thoughtful details. The hosts were charming and seemed happy to take care of whatever we needed. Julia Wight

The rooms were lovely, and the whole place had a relaxed feel. We were greeted warmly and treated with real friendliness and hospitality. I'd definitely recommend it.
