No 12 B&B

Breakfast before our Sunday return journey was incredible. The homemade granola, French toast, eggs, pancakes, bacon and mushrooms were all delicious and plentiful. Catherine had thought of everything, and the rooms at No.12 were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We cycled the Greenway with friends and stayed overnight in Dungarvan. Catherine welcomed us with a lovely pot of tea and the nicest rhubarb crumble I've ever tasted. It was a really lovely stay at her beautiful B&B.

With only two rooms, one double and one twin, be sure to book well ahead. We had a delightful, clean and comfortable stay. Cathy was a superb cook: the welcome fruit compote, coffee and breakfast were all delicious, better than at most five-star hotels. She also helped us with information about upcoming public holidays, local places to eat and things to visit.

Breakfast was sublime, perfectly prepared and cooked, and so delicious you couldn't leave hungry. It was just the thing before heading out to explore Dungarvan. The room was beautifully decorated, the adjoining bathroom immaculate, and the bed super comfortable. Catherine is a perfect host and does everything she can to make a stay relaxing. There's lots of information in the rooms about town facilities and cultural spots, and Catherine herself knows a wealth about the area. This is an absolute gem, just a seven-minute walk from the centre, and a stunning base for exploring Dungarvan.

Comfort and a warm welcome are assured in Catherine’s home. She's a very kind and generous host, and the breakfast was incredible. From the moment you're lucky enough to get a room until you leave, it's a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect, and I hope to return. It's a delightful place to stay, far superior in every way to any hotel or B&B I've visited before.
