The free towel and morning breakfast, mostly porridge, scones, and yogurt, are unusual perks for a hostel and made an already great stay even better. Eyre Square is right outside, with tour buses, restaurants, and bars close by. Book tours through the hostel for a discount. They also run daily pub crawls if you want to meet people, which I’d highly recommend. The Irish are very friendly.

The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of town and easy to walk to shops and pubs. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the bathrooms were spotless every time I used them, and I noticed they were cleaned hourly. Breakfast was great, with options for non-dairy and gluten-free diets. We were a family of five, staying two nights in a private ensuite room, then a third night in another private room and using the shared facilities. It was a little pricey for a hostel, but our experience made it worth it. Thanks for having us.

The bathrooms and showers are really well maintained, and there’s solid Wi-Fi even in the rooms. It’s handy that tours leave from the hostel, and staff have good recommendations. Breakfast has good options too. The positive praise this place gets is deserved, I couldn’t really ask for more.

I had a great stay and would come back, though I was hoping for a local pub crawl and felt the hostel's social events fell short. My six-bed mixed dorm had an en-suite and worked perfectly. I also made friends with two guys from Ohio and went to the pubs with them. The place was clean and well kept, and the night staff made me feel secure. Staff were friendly and ready to help. I checked out at 6am before breakfast, and Ali kindly made me coffee and gave me a scone. He was especially lovely to chat with.

A fun atmosphere, quiet clean rooms, and staff who were really nice and helpful. The location is ideal, only minutes from the train station. I'd happily recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Galway, and I'll come back on my next visit.
