I arrived very late, but the receptionist was friendly and went out of their way to help. I got the same warm welcome at breakfast the next morning. I was very happy with the stay and how welcoming the staff were.

The creamy pints of Guinness are worth a mention, and the relaxed, friendly feel is even better with piano music at weekends. Staff have been lovely all summer and into autumn. The bar food is fantastic, with delicious options available all day and daily specials. We couldn't fault it, and the full tables every night suggest others agree.

They have a lovely menu with plenty of seafood, but the seafood chowder was the best I had in all of Ireland, even after travelling the whole Wild Atlantic Highway. There's also a great little touring park next door for anyone travelling the Wild Atlantic Highway.

We only stopped for coffee, but it was such a lovely treat. The staff were great, the surroundings comfortable, and the food was great too. It's a beautiful old building steeped in history, and a handy stop on The Ring of Kerry or The Wild Atlantic Way, or just because. I'd like to come back and stay.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived for our two-night stay. Our room was very comfortable, and both the dinner menu and food were good, with excellent service. Breakfast was just right for the busy day ahead.
