The setting in the Gaeiltacht is beautiful, and I’d happily come back. The people running the centre were welcoming and helpful, while the room, kitchen and dining area were clean and comfortable. WiFi worked too, handy since reception can be patchy out in the countryside. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Maya made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at Ionad Siul, and her tips for nearby hikes, pubs and other things to do were excellent. We also met her sweet dog Saoirse, who sometimes comes to work with her. Our clean room had a lovely little view of the ocean, and the house was spacious, with a full kitchen and guest supplies like tea and cereal to use. This was the first stop of our weeklong trip, and we liked it so much we didn’t want to leave. Glencolumbkille is beautiful, the quality was outstanding for the phenomenal price, and I’ll definitely be back. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Nice, clean rooms and a guest refrigerator were a plus, and the walks nearby are just a short distance away. It’s an affordable place to stay. The shared kitchen could use cleaner towels and cloths, since everyone does their own dishes. :)

We had a spacious twin room after arriving on our motorbikes for one night. The staff made us feel welcome, there was plenty of parking at the side, and coming in wearing wet motorcycle gear was no problem. The beds were comfy, the en-suite was clean and practical, and there were plenty of fresh towels for both of us. The common room has lots of space and nice sofas for relaxing after a day riding. Cliff even got up to make us a really nice full Irish breakfast in the morning, much appreciated. There’s John Eoinín's just up the road too, where you can sit by the fire with a pint of Guinness. And for other bikers, there are great roads all around Glencolumbcille, right on the Wild Atlantic Way.

A scenic spot with a nice, decent place to stay and friendly staff. The beach is within walking distance, and there’s a loop walk too. A great fit if you enjoy the beach and walking.
