We really admired the view from this cozy place during our trip to Glendalough. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. There’s no catering, as the listing said, and they also explained it in an email beforehand. You can use the kitchen facilities to prepare food you bring yourself.

We spent four days here, and they went by far too quickly. The owners are genuinely kind and welcoming, and the house felt like home. It’s cozy and clean, set in the miners' valley near Glendalough. You can reach the lake with about a 15-minute walk, and hiking trails begin right outside, going in both directions. With Irish nature all around, it felt like paradise. We’ll definitely be back.

The B&B sits at the bottom of a steep road, but we had no trouble getting there, even at night. If you don’t want to drive, there’s a courtesy taxi to a lovely local restaurant. The rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast was delicious. Liam and his wife were very nice, and we enjoyed spending the evening with our host. Cross the creek and you can walk to the beautiful National Park. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. I’d happily return.

On our honeymoon, my husband and I found this to be one of the best B and B places we’ve come across in all our years of travel. The grounds are beautiful, and the decor manages to feel both rustic and casual and stylish and elegant. Our hosts were available and accommodating without hovering. They helped plan our trip, offered advice and booked things we were interested in. Breakfast was splendid.

The riverfront setting was peaceful and beautiful, and the hotel is well placed for visiting one of Ireland’s top destinations. Our room was huge, with a clean, practical bathroom that was well stocked. Breakfast was a full Irish and kept us going all day. Just note that payment is cash only.
