The rooms are a little dated, though very clean. I have coeliac disease, and when I asked, the staff were knowledgeable, reassuring and accommodating. A separate gluten-free menu would be great to see. Reception, dining and bar staff were all kind, and easy to chat and laugh with. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were clean and got some use from us. The hotel is a three-minute walk from Kenmare, so it's in a quiet spot but still close to the craic. I'll be back to try the spa.

I've stayed twice, and both visits were wonderfully peaceful. Even with the window open all night on our first stay, the road nearby didn't disturb us, and the beds were so comfortable. On my second visit I used the gym, and the staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. They even contacted us privately ahead of time to ask if we wanted to book dinner, which was phenomenal service. The bath, shower, cleanliness and mini fridge were all great. Netflix, YouTube and Prime on the TV made for a perfect relaxing weekend away. I can't recommend it enough.

After long walks or days out exploring Kenmare, the leisure facilities are ideal. We also loved the restaurant food, which was amazing and good value, and Bothan Bar was a pleasant place for a quiet pint. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped, a perfect peaceful break from everyday stress. Definitely five stars, and we'll be back.

Josh and Slav were very professional in the dining room. At reception, Gabby and Sharon greeted me warmly and were pleasant and personable. My stay just got better from there. I'd highly recommend this hotel. Seán Sunderland.

The rooms are small and dated, and the place is badly in need of refurbishment. There are no lifts, which wasn't an issue for us, though it could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or someone carrying a pram upstairs. Reception staff were unremarkable, neither rude nor especially friendly.
