The location is great, close to town, and the cottage is very comfortable with a good breakfast. It's a new build by the owner, with lovely attention to detail and a beautiful thatched roof. When we arrived, I got the feeling the host wasn't looking to mingle or get to know her guests. Carmel was friendly, though, just brief and to the point. That wouldn't put me off staying here. Very comfortable and well located.

Just outside Kenmare, this was a great place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty. We also really enjoyed chatting with Carmel.

The breakfast was amazing, so very good, and the house is lovely with a great hostess in a wonderful location. I'd suggest choosing an upstairs room, since footsteps and voices carry into the rooms below. Some guests are considerate about it, but others aren't.

The hosts are very friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. We had a very pleasant one-night stay in this charming cottage, which the hosts built themselves. Breakfast was great too. It's ideally placed along the Ring of Kerry, near Killarney and the national park. I can definitely recommend it. Book directly with them!

Carmel was such a kind hostess. She offered to cook the trout we'd caught that morning for supper, and added one of her own trout, homegrown tomatoes and cucumber, and home-baked brown bread. What a delicious treat. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay.
