The room was clean and modern, and our host was lovely. We had beautiful views and enjoyed sitting outside; when it got chilly, we could relax in the lounge instead. The kitchen was set up well for making tea and coffee and getting breakfast ready.

We only had one night at Misty Bay before heading on to Killarney and Galway, so we didn’t get to spend much time in the cottage. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed. The mountain view was breathtaking, and Phil was friendly, polite and quick to respond.

The beds were very comfortable, and there were USB ports by the nightstands for charging. It was quiet, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The views across Kenmare Bay to the mountains were stunning. You’ll want a car, since Kenmare is technically walkable but quite a long walk.

Phil was great, and the views were excellent. We really appreciated having USB ports in the room for charging our devices. The beds were super comfortable too. The location works well if you’re driving.

Warm, clean and cosy rooms with a marvellous view. The kitchen is tiny and has just a microwave, toaster and kettle, so it isn’t suitable for cooking.
