I tried to reserve this apartment through AirBNB for one Sunday night in September 2025, almost a year ahead. The owner turned down the request, saying there was a two night minimum, though the AirBNB listing didn’t mention one and let me request a single night. Usually a rental with a minimum stay won’t accept a request that falls short of it. The owner said it was a clerical mistake on their end, but still wouldn’t honor my booking. I was looking at a Sunday in a period that isn’t peak tourist season in Ireland, not a Friday or Saturday. Since the mistake was theirs, I would have thought they might make an exception. Poor customer service.

It was especially useful getting suggestions for local restaurants and places to see. The staff were attentive and very welcoming to our family, and the breakfasts were fabulous. We had a lovely stay in July 2014. Dallas, TX USA family

There were eight of us in town for a concert, so we booked two self catering apartments and turned it into a whole weekend. The rooms were huge and newly renovated, with super king beds that were incredibly comfortable. Wow, we had such a great time. Thanks for looking after us, Bernice. Can’t wait to book again.

A lovely place to unwind, with privacy and that comfortable home away from home feeling. It’s central to everything, the beds are comfy, and the home is equipped with everything you need. Great host, we couldn’t go wrong.

The location was just right, and the room was a delight. Bernice and Ian were wonderful, and breakfast was lovely too.
