There’s a big, tidy garden, and a sheep farm sits across the road. The house is about 950 meters from Killoglin town center, with parking space for two or three full-size coaches. I stayed for three nights in mid-May with 16 vegetarian clients. As a local tour guide who travels a lot, I’d put this among the top 10 B&Bs I’ve stayed in. Mary and her husband Leonard were kind, funny, and elegant throughout, and provided everything we needed. The rooms were all spacious and had private bathrooms, making this more than a standard B&B. My clients, my Irish coach driver, and I all came away with a great impression. I’ll recommend it to my colleagues!

The hosts were friendly and the rooms were large, and it was easy to find. It’s very close to town, so you can go out in the evening and walk back safely. Breakfast could use more options for vegetarians and vegans. There was fresh fruit and dairy, but no cereal or oats. Seems like a great place to stay in summer.

The Irish breakfast was grand, and Killorglin is only a short walk away. We had a lovely family holiday in Kerry, and the family room worked perfectly for us. Thanks for a great stay at Westfield House. We’ll definitely be back.

Great value, with a very nice breakfast and a choice of cooked dishes, fruit salad, or cereals. The rooms were spacious too, and Killorglin is just a short walk away.
