We had the family room with a double and a single bed. It was on the small side, but had everything we needed for the night, and the bathroom was spotless. The room was scrupulously clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. My 6'5 husband managed, though a queen-length bed would have suited him better; if anyone in your group is over 6 feet, you might ask whether they have a longer bed. Breakfast was delicious and huge, enough to keep you going until the evening meal, with options for the vegetarians as well as the meat eaters in our family. Everyone was happy, and we’d stay here again if we’re in the area.

They went out of their way to get dairy-free yogurt and gluten-free bread for my son and me, since we have celiac and also eat dairy-free. The hosts were wonderful, and the Irish breakfast was amazing. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the B&B is close to Downtown Doolin. Highly recommend it!

The breakfast was much more than I expected, and as the owner John put it, "it is a little bit special alright"! We had a warm, genuine welcome, and they were very accommodating. The bedrooms were comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect, and the town was within walking distance. I’ll most certainly come back.

It’s only a short distance from the centre of Lisdonvarna. John is a real gent and the perfect host, putting you straight in a holiday mood. Such a relaxing atmosphere.

The hosts are a lovely, helpful couple. Our room was spotless and had some pretty details, but breakfast was the standout. Everyone got fresh strawberries and blueberries with their meal, and the service was amazing. What a lovely B&B!
