The owner brought us bakery items, milk, and homemade jam, and had the fireplace lit when we arrived. The accommodation is lovely, and I can really recommend this property.

When we arrived for our second stay, there was already a lovely fire going. Ger came by later with homemade chutney, apple jelly, scones, butter, milk, and honey from his own bees. It was all lovely, and I'd have taken the rest home if I could. The cottage is a great base for the Inishowen 100 and further afield. Ger is a great host, and I'd highly recommend staying here. There isn't a cooker, though I wasn't planning on doing much cooking anyway.

The owner met us at this lovely thatched cottage and said he'd come back later to light the fire. He did, and brought homemade scones with blackberry jam, plus butter and milk. We felt very welcome during our weekend stay. I'd recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

Ger made us feel so welcome at this lovely thatched cottage. We all had a magical stay, and even our dog seemed reluctant to go home. We'd happily return to Tigin Tui and would recommend it to anyone.

We got great tips from the host for dinner and places to explore, and he also told us a bit about the history of the house and area. The breakfast was amazing. The cottage felt so cosy with the fireplace going, especially with it minus 5 degrees outside, and the host was super friendly.
